Why we refreshed our brand

It is the first major evolution of our brand since our early days as a company, and it reflects how much we have grown since then.

As the company evolved, our image needed to catch up

Binary System started as a small team with a clear focus: helping railway operators run safer, more efficient services. Today, our SoftRail suite supports over 300 instances and 400 projects across the industry, reaching more than 65,000 users and 92,000 rail employees every day. 88% of Italian rail operators rely on SoftRail, and our teams keep close to 330,000 trains and 25,000 vehicles running smoothly every year.

That growth did not happen by chance. It came from years of work alongside our customers and partners, expanding our product suite from crew and rolling stock planning to maintenance, document distribution, training, train composition, shunting, and business intelligence, all connected in a single ecosystem. As the company evolved, our image needed to catch up. A brand should represent what a company has become, not just what it used to be.

Some things do not change

Some things do not change, because they are the reason our customers have stayed with us. Our mission remains the same: helping railway operators handle the complexity of running safe, efficient, and sustainable services.

The same product depth.
Seven integrated SoftRail modules covering planning, maintenance, documentation, training, composition, shunting, and reporting, all with offline-capable mobile apps.
The same reliability.
ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certifications, native cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud and AWS.
The same responsiveness.
An average first response time of 7 minutes on support tickets, and more than 25 releases a year to keep improving the product.
The same partnership approach
A 95% customer retention rate built on real knowledge of railway operations, not just software.

Come see our new look at InnoTrans

The best place to see the new Binary System in person is InnoTrans, from September 22 to 25. We will be at the Modaxo Neighborhood, stand 435, hall 2.1, ready to talk about how SoftRail can support your operations today and where it is headed next.

Same energy, same commitment, new look. We look forward to seeing you there.
